Hi, I'm Mylee
Owner & Founder
I have always felt the drive to help children have the best childhood they can, and this motivated me to relocate to Florida and obtain my Master's in Occupational Therapy. I love where this journey has brought me because I wake up each morning excited to help families obtain real change. My passion for feeding therapy started when, as a first-time mom, I had many doubts and could not find the right answers, even when asking for help.
My daughter was having a hard time nursing; we had tried so many bottles, and she was behind her expected weight. I felt the pressure and was constantly worried that she was not eating enough or that I was doing something wrong.
I felt unsupported and that I was failing my daughter. I had to go to a couple of providers until we found someone who explained every little detail and truly helped us. My daughter had lip, tongue, and cheek ties, and these were impacting her ability to nurse and her development.
Since then, educating parents has become one of my greatest passions. I want every family member to understand a child’s diagnosis, challenges, and strengths. In PWL therapy, I have combined my passion for children and play to provide increased access to occupational therapy services for Spanish-speaking families. Through my computer screen, I can see the environment, coach parents, and provide better-informed recommendations.
